USF FLUTE DAY WITH GUEST ARTIST, GEORGE POPE! MARCH 2, 2019
~THANK YOU, EVERYONE, FOR A GREAT DAY!
All flutists are welcome to attend and participate! Bring your flute, a stand (with your name on it), a notebook to take notes, and a pencil.
If you play in a flute ensemble or choir and would like to nominate your group to play on the final concert, please contact me or indicate this on the registration form (below).
Attire: please dress comfortably for the day; we'll play the concert as we are!
All events take place in the USF School of Music
PARKING: we advise you to purchase a $5 parking pass at the parking kiosk (purple lot 3D on the map) for the day.

11:30-12 OGBG Flute Choir (One Great Big Giant Flute Choir - all present can play!) rehearsal: bring your flute of choice (piccolo, C flute, alto, bass!) and a stand to join playing in one great big giant flute choir!

12:30-1:30PM George Pope Guest Artist Flute Recital, Barness Recital Hall: presenting works by women composers! With Dr. Dana Milan, piano
1:45-3:15 PM Flute Masterclass with George Pope
3:15-3:30 PM Festive Flute Ensemble rehearsal - our chance to add the final touches to our piece Choir Hall Room 119
3:30-4:30 PM Final Concert in the Choir Hall Room 119: a potpourri event featuring area ensembles playing short selections, concluding with a performance by the OGBG (One Great Big Giant Flute Choir comprised of all flutists attending). Friends and family welcome to attend! Plus a drawing.
4:30 PM last chance to visit the exhibits! And goodbyes for now…
