A very special Flute Track debuts as part of the 2021 USF High School Band Camp. Here, I will work with flutists looking for a flute focus of daily flute masterclasses, flute chamber music, and even private lesson opportunities - including FMEA Etude Intensive Sessions with lots of guides, performance strategies, and much more!

CAMP SCHEDULE
A detailed schedule will be provided to all accepted campers.

CAMP CLASSES
  • Masterclasses
A masterclass is similar to a “public lesson” and allows everyone to learn together by observing as well as participating by turn. Students will learn about tone, technique, performance, repertoire, and many other things!  We will have two forms of masterclasses: class sessions for just flute repertoire and etudes, and class sessions for flute repertoire. Performing in the classes is optional but done on a rotating basis.
  • Tone and Technique Classes
These classes are done in a group setting, so if you don’t feel comfortable performing in one of the masterclasses you will still play!
  • Chamber (Small) Ensembles
Each student will participate in a small ensemble (two to five players, one on a part) with rehearsals, coachings, and a performance.
  • Flute Choirs
Each student will participate in flute choir, with piccolos, flutes, alto flutes, and bass flutes.
  • Recitals and Concerts
